Kimberley's largest and most sustainable vacation rental, The Stemwinder Lodge. This 5000 sq foot, Alp-inspired lodge has 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. Sleeps 12 in real beds.

About The Stemwinder Solar Lodge

The Stemwinder Solar Lodge is Kimberley's premium, resort-base vacation rental. It is powered by the sun with a 24.3 kW solar generation system on the roof.

This beautifully finished 8-bdrm/8-bathroom, 5000 sq foot lodge is situated on the desirable Stemwinder Drive. The location is the perfect home base for golf and ski or corporate groups as it is a quick stroll (8 min walk) to the quad chair and across the street from Trickle Creek Golf Course. The lodge is also wheelchair accessible. 


The main lodge is modelled after a European chalet with six bedrooms each with its' own ensuite bathroom. The main floor has the master bedroom with a king bed plus a twin bed and a large wheelchair-accessible ensuite. The upper floor has four bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom.  Most bedrooms have a king or a queen bed plus a twin bed. For large groups, the kings can be split into two twins. The lower-level bedroom has a king. The suite is a 2-bdrm, 1-bathroom unit is equipped with a billiard table, a 6-person custom poker table and a foosball table to pair with the wet bar. 


The open living room has an oversized grand staircase, a wood-burning stove and an incredible mural depicting The Bootleg Gap and the St. Mary River. A dining table for 12-16 and a fully equipped kitchen with bar seating for four make meal preparation an inclusive event.

The loft has a 55" Smart TV and card/games table. The back deck has a new 3-burner Weber natural gas BBQ and a hot tub.

The minimum stay is 3 nights and rates are from $899/night plus cleaning and taxes. The maximum number of guests is twelve adults. No party groups, please. Our properties are all pet-friendly with a $25/night charge and the signing of our Pet Policy.
