Our Resort is owned by the Ktunaxa and Shuswap Nations . We are proud of our unique Indigenous culture, deep history in the region and long-standing connection to the land. Once a former residential school, the Mission Building was reclaimed under the visionary leadership of the Ktunaxa Nation and transformed into full-service resort and beacon of light for the community.
Framed by the Rockies, the Purcell’s and the famous St Mary River, the St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino is a spectacular destination for getaways, vacations, conferences, retreats and weddings. The resort is located 10 minutes from Cranbrook, 5 minutes from the Cranbrook Rockies International Airport and 20 minutes from the picturesque town of Kimberley. Within its historic walls and the connecting Lodge are beautifully appointed, elegant guestrooms and conference facilities. Within the Resort lies the Interpretive Centre, operated by The Ktunaxa Nation Council. Daily tours allow guests to learn more about the building’s fascinating history, people, and culture found only in this part of the world. Also on site is the newly renovated Casino of the Rockies – The bold, nature-based design concept pays homage to the Ktunaxa First Nations’ connection to the earth, and highlights flora and fauna native to the mountains and foothills in our backyard. The all-new, full-service restaurant Kiʔsuʔk kikiⱡ (key-seeouk- keekit) is a dining experience all its own. The new restaurant features small plates & appetizers, entrees and a full bar including craft cocktails. Or take in the excitement with tapas and a game of billiards in the Casino Lounge. With 224 slot machines, 10 table games and delicatessen style dining makes this casino a landmark of its own. Our 18-hole, Les Furber-designed Golf Course was named "one of Canada’s top new courses" by Golf Digest Magazine. The pristine fairways and white sand bunkers wind their way through several different environments, creating a unique combination of links, forests, and a spectacular views of the St. Mary River. Our fitness centre features a fully equipped gym, steam room, sauna, a heated pool, and two hot tubs. Pamper yourself at Blush Medispa our full-service day spa steps away from our outdoor pool. Now located onsite is the St. Eugene KOA RV Park. Located right along the St. Mary's river and only a short walk to the hotel and casino.
