Bring Your Bubble | Christmas and New Years 2020

As of December 7th, the province of BC has updated Provincial Health Orders and Travel Advisories are in place until Jan 8, 2021. Very simply, you and your core bubble can still legally travel to Kimberley under a travel advisory. Your family crew can safely enjoy Kimberley's low skier-density slopes, our fantastic vacation rental condos or chalet and be welcomed by our resort-community.

30% Off on Christmas/New Years Availability:

  • The luxurious Stemwinder Chalet is available for a Dec 23 check-in and into January ($945/night plus cleaning fee and taxes based on five-night minimum).

  • The ski-in/out Kimberley Ridge 411 is available for a Dec 28 check-in and into January ($475/night plus cleaning fee and taxes based on five-night minimum).

I have lowered the pricing for these units to help make it more accessible for our family of clients to plan a safe ski adventure to Kimberley. For a single-family or your core bubble, these properties are 30% off our Peak Season pricing.

Below is further information that will help you make your decisions:

1) TRAVEL ADVISORY - BC Government stipulates that non-essential travel should be avoided until after January 8th. For most people, their core bubble is their immediate household. An immediate household is a group of people who live in the same dwelling. Your core bubble is welcome.

2) ORDER - No social gatherings, must limit to immediate household/core bubble.

3) ORDER - Mask Up. Masks mandatory in public indoor spaces, this includes common areas, retail and dining (but not at your table when eating/drinking).

Winter Ski Season:

Kimberley Alpine Resort opened today. I blasted up to look first-hand at their safety programs and how it would affect my clients' experience. The good news, the base area is very planned out for skier movements. The Stemwinder Pub is open and it's being made easy to enjoy a bite or an apres-ski brew.

Kimberley offers a wealth of cross-country skiing, fat biking, snowshoeing and is the only resort in the BC Interior area that permits alpine touring up the hill. This fast-growing sport is one of our local fav

Businesses offering indoor experiences such as dining and shopping are all open with safety protocols in place. See our complete listing of restaurants offering how to order online for take-out or how to order your groceries for curbside pick up. Please, for the sake of your future visits, shop local!

We all love to travel and explore, and tourism is a very important industry for our community, so please feel free to directly contact me with any questions.

Pre-Trip Planning:

Three weeks ago I wrote a blog post on how to travel to Kimberley safely this winter. And, be welcomed by our resort town. It is more relevant than ever and is viewable here.

We need your visitation. You need healthy, memory-making mountain adventures with those you love. We're in this together.

Yours in Hospitality,
